The impact of the government's new policy on the independent curriculum drives Madrasah to continuously make changes and improvements to this new curriculum. This necessitates that educational administrators undergo an adaptation process due to the curriculum change. This study aims to examine the implementation of the independent curriculum at Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in the Jenu District using a qualitative phenomenological research method. The research locations are MTs Al-Hidayah and MTs Manbail Huda in Jenu District. The data sources for this study were obtained through interviews with the Madrasah Principals, observation of curriculum implementation, and documentation. To obtain accurate and objective data, the researchers used the theories of data condensation, display, and verification by Miles, Huberman & Saldana, as well as the theories of triangulation and confirmability by John W. Creswell. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the independent curriculum at Tsanawiyah Madrasahs in Jenu District has been well executed in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, despite many challenges encountered
