Pengembangan Pendidikan Karakter Dalam Membentuk Karakter Santri di Pondok Pesantren
Abstract
Islamic boarding schools have an effective role in forming human characters that are distinctive and have Islamic values through the process of learning the yellow book. Islamic boarding schools are a very important link for the transformation of knowledge and the inheritance of Islamic values from one generation to the next. This study aims to describe the model of implementing character education for students in Islamic boarding schools and the development model carried out by Islamic boarding schools. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of the character education model at the Hidayatul Athfal Islamic boarding school in Dlanggu Village, Deket District, Lamongan Regency with four types; Mauidhoh Model. Second, the Habituation Model; Qudwah Model (Exemplary); and the Targhib and Tarhib Model. The development of the character education model at the Hidayatul Athfal Islamic boarding school in Dlanggu Village, Deket District, Lamongan Regency is integrated into daily activities, weekly activities and annual activities.
